It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genell Allen Garland of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herschel and Willie Mae Foster Allen; her husband William Garland; her son Jackie Lee Garland; her siblings, Opal, Lucille, Carl, Chester, Lester, Paul, Marvin and Wayne; and her grandson Matthew Adam Garland.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Garland of Lawrenceburg, TN, Billy D. Garland (Barbara) of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Timothy W. Garland (Gayle) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and her sisters, Ruth Byrd of Columbia, TN, Faye Long (Billy) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Kaye Buie of Lawrenceburg, TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
