He is survived by: his wife Mary Rutledge; his children, Martin Garcia (Rebecca), Harry Douglas (Michelle), Lisa Rutledge and Julia Douglas; his stepdaughters, Montalabra Perea, Margaret Perea and Antoinette Perea; his siblings, Leon Rutledge and Annie Pearl Rutledge; and his grandchildren, Desmond, Diamond, Chrishyah, Akeelah, Adrianna, Kayiah, Tora and Aaliyah.
