Ernest Griffin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Griffin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ernest shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ernest farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Griffin and Minnie Allien Oakley Griffin; his wife Malinda Griffin; and his children, Ernest Griffin, Jr., Carolyn Anderson and Wayne Rediker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ruby King (Erin) of Hohenwald and Rosalyn Jenkins (Wayne) of Crestwood, KY; and his daughter-in-law Janis Rediker of Centerville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
