She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hardison and Adrienne Hardison; her son Jeffery Mark Childress; and her siblings, Roy Hardison Jr. and Laverne Young.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Childress; her daughter Melanie (Mitchell Wickman); her grandchildren, Tyler Wickman and Taylor Wickman; and her great grandchild Nolan Wickman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
