She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgess Everett and Oradean Slagle; her sister Larue Slagle Eaton; her niece Karen Eaton Sadler; and her sister-in-law Joyce Slagle.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Downey (Paula) and Lana Waller (Brian); her brothers, William Slagle (Carolyn) and Wayne Slagle; and her grandchildren, Evan Waller (Lexi), Caleb Waller and Domenica Downey.
