He was predeceased by: his son Michael Box; and his brother Virgil Box. He is survived by: his wife Joy M. Box; his sons, John Box and Daughter (Teresa Box); his sister Mary Pope; his grandsons, Steven, David, Nick and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Aliyah, Nathaniel, Jaxon, Wyatt and Charlotte; and his goddaughters, Tina Nelson and Traci Aday. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
