He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hugh and Mary Evelyn Gillespie Ihrie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hollman Ihrie of Lawrenceburg, TN; his children, Ann Ihrie Norwood (Casey) of Collierville, TN, Beth Ihrie Reed (Chip) of Birmingham, AL, Patrick Ihrie (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN and John Ihrie of Odenton, MD; his brother Ronald Ihrie (Susan) of Nashville, TN; his nephew Mark Ihrie; and his grandchildren, Sam Norwood, Claire Norwood, Ryan Norwood, Margo Ihrie, Ruthie Reed, Owen Reed, Bennett Reed, Jake Reed, Matty Reed and Max Reed.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg (212 Berger St, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School and Church of Lawrenceburg.
