It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Franklin Graves of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Anderson, Alabama, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Graves and Reba Long Graves; his brother Evans Graves; his close friend Imogene Ayers; and the mother of his children Barbara Ann Graves.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie Graves (Shawn) of Lawrenceburg, Sylvia Gaines of Lawrenceburg and Pamela Graves of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Jerry Simpkins (Ashley), David Simpkins, Duane Hastings (Lacy Russ), Timothy Stevenson, Karen Rivera and Brian Rivera; his great grandchildren, Bentley Simpkins, Kinzly Simpkins, Diesel Simpkins, Lillyonna Hastings, Landon Hastings, Dixie Graves and Cody Graves; his nieces, Wanda Gail Shelton and Shirley Appleton; and his friends, Judy and Robert Mayo.
