He is survived by: his wife Joyce Shands of Lawrenceburg, TN; his children, John Shands of Lawrenceburg, TN and Sarah Shands Allen (Shannon) of Bellevue, NE; his grandchildren, William Barrett Shands of Moses Lake, WA, Courtney Allen of Bellevue, NE and Christian Allen of Bellevue, NE; and his sister-in-law Peggy Shands of Lawrenceburg, TN.. He is also survived by then married the love of his life and raised two children and a grandson.
