He is survived by: his wife Maxine Bedingfield Methvin of Lawrenceburg, TN; his children, Stephanie Methvin Harmon of Murfreesboro, TN and Carroll Methvin, Jr. (Sheila) of Leoma, TN; his brother Dr. Ray Methvin (Sondra) of Loretto, TN; his grandchildren, Rachel Dennis (Mike) of Lake Mary, FL, Caroline Cooper (Jay) of Murfreesboro, TN, Bryce Harmon of Murfreesboro, TN, Nathan Methvin of Leoma, TN and Sarah Sanders (Cayman) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and his great grandchildren, Hallie Dugger of Lake Mary, FL, Lucy Dennis of Lake Mary, FL and Charlie Cooper of Murfreesoboro, TN..
