He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus Harlan and Evaline Harlan; his siblings, Celestine Collier (Jessie) and Alvis Harlan (Barbara); and his stepdaughter Sheila Long (Ron).
He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Parker (Harold) and Norma Thomas (LeRoy); his wife Barbara Kay Livengood Harlan; his sons, Bryan Harlan (Lyndee) and Scott Harlan (Lisa); his stepchildren, Beverly Maxwell (Randy) and Micky Meigs (Angie); his children, Zoe, Evie, Xander, Michael Allen Harlan (Emily) and Sarah Harlan; and his grandchildren, John Beckett, Taylor Maxwell, Caleb Meigs, Benjamin Meigs, Lyndsee Bell and Joey Brakefield.
The family requests any memorials go to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia Tn's Press On Fund.
