He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Pollock Carroll and Frankie Ann Tibbs Carroll; his daughter Annette Patton Carroll; and his brothers, Malcom Crowell and Jimmy Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Calvin Carroll (Tina) of Crossville, Teresa Hughes of Hohenwald, Carolyn Garrett of Linden and Connie Bowman (Danny) of Centerville; and his siblings, Donald Crowell (Dorothy) of Hohenwald, Judy Brewer (Bob) of Hohenwald, Ann Oliver of Hohenwald and Brenda Buie (Randy) of Hohenwald. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
