He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thompson and Lula Wilson Thompson; and his brothers, Doyse Thompson and Curly Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Willa Ruth Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN; and his children, Kathy King (Phil) of Murfreesboro, TN, Becky Reynolds (Mike) of Murfreesboro, TN, Mike Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN and Rick Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorials be made to The Gideons International or the Lawrence County Public Library.
