He is survived by: his wife Ruby Spurgeon; his daughters, Letha Dawn Sollie and Gina Spurgeon; his stepchildren, Marty, Samantha and Amanda; and his siblings, Donald Gene Spurgeon (Ruth), Martha Ann Bushman and Dola Clendenning (James). He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
