She was predeceased by: her parents, S. V. Staggs and Nellie Elizabeth Gobbell; her husband Bruce Long; and her brother Melvin Staggs. She is survived by: her sister Connie Cozart. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home (501 W Gaines St, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
