She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Watson and Effie Lee Ingram Crane; her husband Francis Marion Speakman; and her siblings, Pauline Richards, Effie Higdon and Alton Crane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Gaye Speakman Dassing of Lawrenceburg, TN and Fran Spence of Dyersburg, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
