She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Willa Jo Smith; her stepmother Dorris Smith; her siblings, Grant Smith, Lola Crawford, Kennie Sue Wafford and Jessie Mae Law; and her close friend Cherry Dale.
She is survived by: her husband J. L. Prentice; her children, Ricky Bradley, Gene Teague (Kathy) and Lynne Teague; her stepchildren, Cathy Maust, J. L. Prentice J. and Billy Prentice; and her siblings, William Smith Jr. and Debra F. Haymons. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
