It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annette Ray of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Dora, Alabama, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Gilbreath and Ruth Browning Gilbreath; her husband Roy Mack Ray; and her siblings, Sylvester, William, Alvin, Robert Gilbreath, Bessie Mae Salter, Ila Dean Woods, Betty Joyce Traywick and Mary L. Rogers.
She is survived by: her son Jason Ray (Aundra) of Lawrenceburg, TN; her grandchildren, Hillary Cope (Brady), Boston Ray (Erin) and Sawyer Ray (Chaley); her great grandchildren, Cutler Mack Ray and Easton Cain Ray; and her sisters, Patricia Hodges of Dora, AL, Faye Box of Dora, AL and Linda Robinson of Dora, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the surge of Covid, the family has elected to have a private service with Danny Huckaba and Chad Clanton officiating.
