With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Cornelius of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on November 14, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon Polk and Edna Blanche Westscott Polk; her husband Robert "Cortez" Cornelius; and her sons, Johnny Cornelius and Doug Cornelius.

She is survived by: her children, Bob Cornelius (Jeannie), Carol Beasley (John) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Kay McCurdy (Jay) of Brunswick, GA; her grandchildren, Hannah Rodriquez (Alex) of Albuquerque, NM, Chris Cornelius, Katie Lyn Godsey (Allen) of Greenville, SC, Scott Beasley (Katie) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Isabell McCurdy of Brunswick, GA and Sophie McCurdy of Brunswick, GA; and her great grandchildren, Will Beasley of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jack Beasley of Lawrenceburg, TN and Liam Godsey of Greenville, SC..

The family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church or the Lawrence County Public Library.
