He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Freytag and Dorothy Howard Freytag; his siblings, Bob Freytag, Conway Freytag, Fred Freytag, Curt Freytag and Mary Davis; his son Marty Freytag; his sons-in-law, Ernest Coldiron and Ed Green; and his grandson Matthew Green.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Freytag; his children, Tonya Coldiron, Dorothy "Dottie" Baker (Mike), Penny Crouse (Larry), Jackie Henning (Bobby), Leslie Rochelle (Joey), Mike Freytag (Barby) and Ryan Freytag; his stepson Jim Naugle; and his siblings, Harvey Freytag, Greg Freytag, Floy King, Phyllis Welch, Brenda Minor, Francie Esmonde, Violet Cruz, Becky Davis and Sheila Dilts. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
