He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Hughes and Geneva Walpole Hughes; and his brother Robert Hughes, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hughes of Lavinia; his daughters, Pam Belew (Jason) of Milan, Rhonda Hughes of Lavinia and Gina Hays (Casey) of Milan; and his grandchildren, Haylee Duncan, Kaylee Hays, Maegan Hughes, Eli Belew and Erin Hays.
