He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Andrew McAlexander and Martha Jane McAlexander (Kizer); his children, Jeffery McAlexander, Marty Nunley and Destiny Pritchett; and his brother Richard McAlexander.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda McAlexander (Forrest); his children, Nancy Pruitt of Cedar Grove and Bobby McAlexander of Trezevant; his sister Virginia Rhea of Lavinia; his grandchildren, Andrew McAlexander, Ryan McAlexander, Emily Haley, Hunter Pruitt and Clowie Nursery; and his great grandchildren, James Nursery, Michael Haley and Maddie Haley.
