He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Clyde Swift and Betty Sue Owens Roop; his stepfather Freddie Roop; and his brother Kevin Swift. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Taylor, Faith Swift, Bret Owens and David Swift Jr.; and his siblings, Sandy Garr and Bobby Swift. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to cover expenses.
