With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Alexander McKinney III of Lascassas, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Edmiston; his parents, William Alexander McKinney, Jr. and Sarah Knight; and his brother-in-law Tom Woods. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte McKinney; his children, Shawn McKinney Swetmon (David), Lee Whitney McKinney and Traci Welchance (Scott); his siblings, Charles McKinney (Donna), Robert "Bobby" McKinney, Susan Sain (Jerry) and Sally Sweatt (David); his grandchildren, Katherine Reese Swetmon, Zivu Lucas, Inanna Lucas, Austen Welchance, Jameson Edmiston and Hailey Edmiston (Jacob Lindsey); and his great grandchildren, Maria, Austen, Martalynn, Stella and Brooks.
