He was predeceased by: his daughter Nyla Satterfield; his parents, Erastus Alexander and Mary Frances Sneed McKnight; his siblings, Hazel Bennett of Ruby Thompson, Al D., Ruel, Kenneth, Bill, Frank and Frances McKnight; and his sons-in-law, Gary Simmons, Henry Satterfield, Robert Vaughter and Mike Miller.
He is survived by: his children, James Kennedy "Ken" McKnight of Lascassas, TN, Carol Vaughter of Murfreesboro, TN, Neika McKnight of Murfreesboro, TN, Rita Lester (Lannie) of Milton, TN, Nancy Miller of Lascassas, TN and Darlene Miller (Stan) of Lascassas, TN; his grandchildren, Rob Vaughter, Charlotte Vaughter Beard, Laura Vaughter Loyal, Marty Bedsaul, Marla Bedsaul Bowman, Karen Satterfield, Stephen Lester, Jeff Miller, Anna Miller Woerner and Nathan Miller; and his close friends, Butch Gilley, Vamela Gilley and Mark Lee. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
