She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon McCanless, Jr. and Mary Henry McCanless; and her husband Dennis Whittemore. She is survived by: her sons, Mark of Lascassas and Tim Whittemore of Lascassas; her grandchildren, Tylar Whittemore, Brooklyn Whittemore, Gauge Whittemore and Brittany Leimer; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Payton Whittemore; and her sister Margie Pressler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
