She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Lewis Hopkins and Margaret Barrett Hopkins Millican; and her husband James Cordell Harris, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Samuel "Cory" Harris (Tracy) and Deavan "Cappy" Preston (David); her siblings, Thomas Lewis Hopkins (Martha), Danny Hopkins (Eva) and Kim Earp (Kevin); her grandchildren, McKinley Caroline Preston, Grayson Harris Preston and Ella Campbell Harris; and her sister-in-law Brownie Sue Alexander (Donald). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
