He was predeceased by: his wife Hallie J. Burchfield "Janie"; his parents, E. C. Burchfield and Carrie Mae Burchfield; and his brother-in-law Johnnie Duncan. He is survived by: his siblings, Randall Burchfield (Pam), Carl Burchfield (Vickie) and Selina Duncan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
