It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Aytes (Lancing, Tennessee), who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Aytes and Rebecca Aytes; his granddaughter Victoria Hensley; his siblings, Wanda Blakley, Leonard, Pete, Reed and Roy Aytes of Frankfort; and his nephews, Allen, John, Aaron, Jerry and Doug Aytes.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Hensley of Newport, TN and J. J.; his sisters, Mable Phillips of Lancing, Alice Herr of Plainsfield, MD and Gertrude Lowe of New Castle, IN; and his sister-in-law Lillie Aytes of Frankfort.
