He is survived by: his nephew Chris Paxton; his brother-in-law Bill Stringfield; his wife Arlene Stringfield Paxton; his daughters, Megan (Trevor Thompson) and Stephanie Paxton; his grandchildren, Bobby Dodd Schubert, Lucas Thompson, Alison Thompson and Corbin Hamby; his brother Lloyd Allen; his sister-in-law Frankie Paxton; his sister Rhonda; his brother-in-law Otis Armes; his uncle Robert Paxton; and his siblings-in-law, Harold, Marvin, Vester Stringfield and Frances Denny.
