It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Marie Burress of Lake City, Tennessee, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson and Ivory Seiber Wilson (James Alfred Burress); her son David Alfred Burress; her siblings, JP Wilson, Charles Wilson and Gearaldine Duvall; her son-in-law Mike Hayton; and her grandsons, Michael Hayton, Rodney Burress and Daniel Lynch.
She is survived by: her children, James D. Burress (Bonnie), Jean Hayton of Lake City, Pat Lynch (John), George Gregory Burress (Debbie) and Misty Starr McKamey (Ronnie); and her close friends, Paris and Opal Ward of Lake City. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
