She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude David and Nancy Ann Heatherly Hawkins; her husband Bobby Gene Grant; and her siblings, Jerry Hawkins, Ronnie, Donnie Hawkins, Lloyd Hawkins, Norris Hawkins, Lillie Mae Hawkins and Josie Claudine Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Sumner (David) and Gene Grant (Beth Mantooth); her grandchildren, Garrett Sumner and Margaret Sumner; and her sisters, Faye Cooper (Curtis), Katherine Hawkins, Geneva Norton (Ronnie) and Cherry Lane (Pat).
