He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Carden and Willie Carden; and his siblings, Leroy Carden and Carolyn McKamey. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Vowell Carden of Lake City; his sons, Eric Carden of Lake City and Mark A. Carden of Lake City; and his siblings, Larry (Angie Carden), Joe Carden of Lake City, Pat, Lonnie Dison of Caryville and Nina Carden of Lake City. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
