He is survived by: his children, Anita (Mark Woodward) and Kenny Mays (Beverly) of Clinton; his siblings, Virginia (Wallace Powell) of Jacksonville Florida, Sonia Kelley of Saluda, Judy Cameron of Saluda, Ruby North of Saluda, Shirley Peace of Pineville, Freddie (Debbie Mays) of Pineville and Tommy Mays of Barbourville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Ashley (David Lyons) of Knoxville, Kendra (Chase Holt) of Knoxville, Bethany Woodward and Drew Williams of Norris; his great grandchildren, Syler Williams, Quentin Holt, Virginia Holt, Boone Lyons and Brooks Lyons; his great-niece Kim Moran; his nephew Zebedee Trett; and his close friends, Casey Prater of Knoxville and Terry Miracle of Tazewell.
