He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Nelson and Tensie Nelson; and his son Matthew Nelson. He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Hargis (Jon), Judy Nelson and Jennifer Smith (Donnie); and his brothers, Arnold Nelson (Martina), Larry Nelson (Sue) and Gary Nelson (Shirley).
