He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Hooks of Lake City; his nephews, Roger (Bonnie Hooks), Dana (Denise Hooks), David Hooks of Clinton, Wally (Misty Braden) and Victor Carter (Angie); and his cousin Bobby McCoy of Briceville.
