He is survived by: his wife Carol Tidwell of LaFollette; his children, William Tidwell Jr. (Willie) of Jacksboro, James Tidwell of LaFollette and Angie Smith (Russ) of LaFollette; his siblings, Verlin Tidwell (Deloris) of Powell and Donna McGhee (Wayne) of Jacksboro; his niece Kathy Richardson; and his grandsons, Timothy McNew and Matthew Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
