He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Lawson and Nannie Lawson; and his siblings, Ralph Lawson and Joyce Lawson Carr. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Gene Carr of Knoxville; his niece Christy Carr Knope (Jason) of Marietta, GA; and his nephew Aaron G. Carr (Jennifer) of Knoxville. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church (636 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bakers Forge Cemetery (2732 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766).
