He is survived by: his sisters, Larna Ridenour and Nannie Ivey; his wife Beatrice Poston Goins; his children, Marquita Goins (Jim) and Mark Goins (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Colton Goins (Celia), Kaylee Proffitt (Paul), Brody, Noah and Knox Goins; and his siblings, Walter Goins, Wallace Goins and Mary Meredith (Along). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
