He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davis Sr. and Nettie Davis (Stanford); his brother John Darrell; his sister-in-law Nancy Davis of LaFollette; and his father-in-law Charles.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Helen Williams; his siblings-in-law, Ted (Larry Williams) and Carolyn Sue Gibson of LaFollette; his wife Diane Davis; his daughter Starla; his son-in-law Curtis Collins; his daughter Rachel Davis of LaFollette; his grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Collins; and his brothers, Charlie Davis (Joann Davis), Steve Davis (Barbara) of LaFollette and Randy (Karen Davis) of Mt. Juliet, TN.
