He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wayne Childress; and his sister-in-law Kathy Childress. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Ele" Childress; his sons, Matt Childress (Ami), Brandon Childress (Karla), Will Childress and Dakota Henderson; his mother Faye Childress; his brother Tim Childress; his nephew Trace Childress; his uncle Ray Ellison (Barbara); and his mother-in-law Beverly. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
