He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gwendolyn Spicer (Tackett) and Richard Lee Spicer; his sisters, Cathy Spicer and Dana Bryant; his wife Francis Spicer (Massengill) of LaFollette, TN; his children, Gerald Massengill (Stacie) of Norris, TN, Ashley Blackburn (Evie) of LaFollette, TN and Richard Spicer (Be'Lei) of Clinton, TN; his grandchildren, Sam, Taylor, McKenzie, Riley, Kelsey, Morgan and Austin; his sister Maria Spellman of Madison, WI; and also Gwendolyn Tackett of Oak Ridge, TN.
