He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Tinch and Martha Turner Tinch. He is survived by: his wife Judith Tinch; his son Von Tinch (Tonya); his grandsons, Wesley Tinch (Courtney) and Calan Tinch (Heather); his great grandchildren, Ayden, Annabelle Tinch, Genesis, Zola Hanley and Eli Fultz; his brother Winton Tinch (Linda Very); and also Mary Helen Barmer Along. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
