She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Lakin Wilson; her parents, James L. Owens and Vinnie Jones Owens; her siblings, Vantoy, Dewey, Ralph, Larry Owens and Lucille Moyers; her siblings-in-law, Hazel Owens, Eli Moyers and Ralph Mundy; and her son-in-law Dennis Medley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Sue Breeding (Wade) and Sandy Thompson; her grandchildren, Meredith Medley Arnold, Candice Howerton and Aaron Thompson; her great grandchildren, John Allen Arnold, Finley and Harlow Thompson; her siblings, Stella Mundy, Ann Hatmaker, Joyce Graves, Milt Owens and Claude Owens; and her siblings-in-law, Phillis Owens, Helen Owens, Mary Lee Owens, Betty Owens and Kelly Graves (Along). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
