He was predeceased by: his former wife Eva Rose Goins; his son Billy Sweat; his wife Diana Sweat; his parents, Wheeler Sweat and Lena Sweat; and his siblings, Earl, Ernest, Albert, Roe Sweat, Louise Lumpkins and Lizzie Sweat.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Sweat Carroll, Robert Edward Sweat (Cathy) and Rhonda Sweat; his grandchildren, Shelly, William, Krystle, Tabatha, Savannah and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Shawn, Reece, Jocelyn, Landon, Lyla, Robby, Maddason and Emma; his stepchildren, Sheri Muse, Joey Rutherford and Stephen Rutherford; and his stepgrandchildren, Keaton, Carter and Shelby. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
