He was predeceased by: his son James Robert Miller (Jim Bob); and his siblings, Ronnie, Bill, Garrett, Glen, Larry, Lorene Sweat and Bonnie Henegar.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Belle Miller; his children, Molly (Tony Heck), Patrick Miller and Gary Lee; his grandchildren, Cody Wilson, Samantha Miller, Alex Miller, Haley Heck, Markita Miller and Faith Heck; and his siblings, Kenneth Miller, Lenora Prater, Wilma Wilson and Linda Miles. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren, les Several Nieces and Nephews.
