He is survived by: his wife Dr. Rita Goins Smith; his siblings, Dr. Quinn Smith (Renee) and Angie Francis; his nephew Adam Francis; his niece Claire Francis; and his great-nephews, Boyd and Zach Francis.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Victory Cemetery.
