She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Byrd and Ethel Mae Byrd; and her siblings, Ruby Cook, Lois Byrge, Betty Farmer, Peggy Kitts and Jimmy Byrd.

She is survived by: her sisters, JoAnn Clapp of Massachusetts, Jewell Gross of LaFollette and Linda Hill of Powell; and her niece Karen McGuire of LaFollette.
