He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Comer; his parents, Jim Comer and Minnie Powell Comer; and his siblings, Randy, David Comer and Sandy Comer.
He is survived by: his wife Terry; his children, Mary Combs (Kyann Beets), Mark Comer and Tim Comer; and his sisters, Becky Hatmaker (Roger) and Robin McCarty (Keith). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
