She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. Childs; her parents, Cecil Berry and Georgia Berry (Stiner); and her siblings, Faye Bean, Edna Bull, Muriel Turner, John and Leroy Berry.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Childs (Kathy); her granddaughters, Cindy Perkey (Jeff) and Sarah Marlow (Zach); and her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Perkey, Brycen Perkey and Logan J. Marlow. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
